The Aberdyfi team of Ron Franks, Libby Franks, Des George, Dai Hughes and John Eddington took part in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Pageant on the Thames.
The team were on the water for nearly six hours but all agreed it was a fantastic
experience to be part of such an event.
The route was lined with cheering crowds and we were able to row as a unit with Llangwm and Neyland until we came across the congestion at some of the bridges which meant finding our way through the arches in company with nearly 300 other manpower craft, which we managed without hitting anything!
The event was held in a wonderful spirit and the crew thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being part of the occasion.
The heavy rain held off until Tower Bridge and then it was proper Celtic weather until we disembarked at Westferry Road slipway, tired but very happy to have been given the opportunity to take part. Do you have the 2016 latest style and fashion prada replica
Thanks to Gill Bailey for her onshore help with the logistics and special thanks to Des for transporting the boat and trailer and for doing all the driving in very poor conditions.
