Winter Training goes ahead....
Dyfi estuary remains calm despite Storm Arwen...

The scheduled winter training session for Sunday November 28th went ahead despite the threat of Storm Arwen.

Ou chairman Mike Rogers said, " Although many parts of Wales and the rest of the Uk were battered by Storm Arwen over the weekend, the Dyfi estuary remained unaffected and sheltered from the northerly winds."

"We were able to go ahead as planned and we took advantage of the cold, but sunny and calm conditions for a great session of winter training."

"With two celtic crews of ladies and two crews of men plus Claire and Chloe out on the sculling boats we all worked hard but thoroughly enjoyed being out on the water."

"Thanks to everyone and especially to those who helped with coxing."
