Our club once again achieved great results when our teams travelled for the first
time to Beaumaris for another round of the WSRA Northern League Races.
Although the moden
Beaumaris club was only established two years ago in 2013, the original Beaumaris Rowing Club was founded in 1873.
Alun said afterwards " It was a great day and a wonderful
location. Conditions for rowing were very good as it was overcast, so
not too hot with calm water for a change. Thankyou to Beaumaris Rowing
Club for organising a wonderful event."
Our chairman Nigel added," The Club was again very successful in all the races in which it competed.and our most striking success came in the mixed category.
Conditions were very calm and the overcast eventually gave way to a sunny day. The
scenery was fantastic with the race routes going both up the straits and out to
sea. The Royal Beaumaris Yacht Club were very hospitable and looked after us
very well and things were well organised."
