Aberdyfi 2014 Regatta a great success!
Aberdyfi was host to both Northern and Southern league...


After a wet and windy Saturday when thoughts of holding a rowing regatta seemed very unlikely, conditions drastically improved overnight Rolex Replica Watches and we were able to host a fantastic day of racing on Sunday, August 31st

Our Chairman, Nigel Pearson, said ,“ It was great to have so many boats from both the Northern and Southern leagues competing in our regatta today  - we had over eighty crews taking audemars piguet replica watches part across the four different race categories and it was quite spectacular to see so many boats out on the Dyfi estuary”

 “Although weather leading up to our regatta had not been favourable, by Sunday morning conditions had vastly improved and we were able to hold the event in warm summer sunshine.  The beach was very busy and plenty of people were able to enjoy the racing.”

 “Conditions for rowing were pretty good. During the first three races- the Ladies , Mens and Junior/Novices  - conditions were perfect with an incoming tide and a force 2 north westerly wind blowing just enough to add a little excitement to the races.”

David Roberts once again was our ‘voice of the Regatta’ and did a great job welcoming everyone, congratulating rowers and keeping everyone informed during the races.”
