Congrats to our ARC crews who took part in the Moelfre League event on Sunday, May 14th at Ynys Mon.
Great results as we get into the 2023 season - Ist Mens Seniors, Ist Mixed Supavets ( 2nd overall), Ist Mixed Seniors ( 3rd overall) and 2nd Ladies overall.
Well done to Richard, Amanda, Gail, Dylan,Tracey, Kevin, Ian ,Jo and Ian B!

"ARC rowers gathered early doors on Sunday morning the 14th of May 2023 at Moelfre Rowing Club, on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, to be welcomed by the most wonderful view and a motley crew of keen competitors from up and down Wales.
There was so much camaraderie amongst the teams, it was lovely to watch- with lots of smiles, sausage sandwiches and cups of tea to start the day!
The day was fantastic and such good fun but, what struck me most, was the friendship, laughter, and good humour between the ARC folk, it was just brilliant!
There was such a strong team spirit and everyone encouraged each other to do our very best.
And we did....coming home with three trophies,
The ladies were only just pipped at the post by Beaumaris and left the other competing teams for dust.
Our winning men's team streaked ahead and took a dominant lead so much so, Beaumaris searched the boat to see where we had hidden the motor!
And finally the mixed race, which involved a few tangles at the first buoy, however both boats battled on and made excellent progress, winning both second and third positions.
Needless to say, it was a tremendous day and hats off to Tracey and Kevin for pulling the teams together and for everyone who joined us on Anglesey for making it such good fun! "
