Along with other water based clubs ARC members were delighted when pandemic restrictions were eased earlier this year and we were all able to safely ‘get back on the water’

It was a great boost to everyone to be able to meet as a club again cheap replica handbags .

We decided as soon as possible to hold a ‘Taster ‘ day  to introduce more people to rowing - which was very successful - and with an influx of enthusiastic new members and renewed energy in already exisiting members, we were thrilled to be back as a club rowing on the Dyfi estuary and beyond!

Although League racing was postponed -( hopefully back next year )- to keep our enthusiasm going  we organised several successful ‘fun’ trips to various destinations along our wonderful coast and explored a fair way along our beautiful Dyfi and Mawddach estuaries Valentino Replica Handbags .

We were lucky that the weather during the summer has been mostly pretty good and we’ve had many a row in calm , mirror-like conditions on the water under a hot sun but also have experienced the exhilaration of a few choppy waves at times- and also the strange experience of running out of water on some occasions!

So, as well as our Saturday morning and evening rows members this summer have rowed around Puffin Island, to Aberystwyth and back, Aberdyfi to Tywyn and back, Aberdyfi to Tywyn beach, Tywyn to Barmouth and Fairbourne beach and back, up the Dyfi estuary to Dyfi Bridge and back, along the Mawddach Estuary from Fairbourne to the George Hotel for a river bank picnic and back and also our most recent – our ‘mini regatta’ at Llyn Tegid.

ARC has definitely had a good summer season with plenty of water activity and we look forward now to autumnal and winter rowing when conditions allow.
