With the help of a National Lottery Grant via Sport Wales, A.R.C. has now purchased a 4 person scull.

A.R.C. sculling captain Dai Rice, said," We are delighted to receive this grant -it is exciting news for our club and the new boat is a very welcome addition."

" The 4 person scull is a stable and also very sociable boat and will hopefully entice more rowers to have a go at sculling."

" We have always been a very inclusive club- encouraging all who wish to engage in our sport. As a condition of the grant via Sport Wales, we are committed to further enhance this welcome to all through engaging with Disability Sport Wales Insport Ribbon."

" As is our normal practise for every new rower, an adaptive rower will be asked to complete a confidential member's form detailing any disability before an invitation to come sculling or rowing at the club."

"Our club actively promotes opportunities for all rowers by providing taster sessions- hopefully leading to further enjoyment of our great sport."
