On Sunday 3 March, Aberdyfi and Aberystwyth Rowing Clubs got together for a social row up the Dyfi estuary. The event commenced at 10:30 when two Aberdyfi crews met four crews from
Aberystwyth at Ynyslas beach for a row. Conditions were not ideal with the crews rowing against wind and tide and the boats turned back at 11:30 for a much easier passage back to the jetty.
The Aberystwyth crews joined us for some refreshments in the boathouse and thanks to Beth Parry and Beth Edwards for organising the tea and coffee for a cast of 30 rowers.
Members of Aberystwyth really appreciated the event and hoped that we can do it again soon when the sun is shining.
